The issue is that Bernie simply holds the same talking point for each and every event I've seen him in... Pandering is often seen as a negative thing when it shouldn't. It's smart to know the issues your audience is facing. If a community is hit hard by a certain political issue, you should talk about it and what you would do to address. You can't just say the same proposals that might have little to no interest to that group.

I'm a computer science major and I am about to spend the summer working on secure software engineering research. If I were going to give a talk on my research to other computer scientists, then I would not have to explain basic CS ideas and terminology. I could have a more technical, thorough talk. But if I'm talking to the general public, then I need to dumb down what I'm saying and "pander" it to a way that the audience understands why my research impacts them on a high-level.

That's just good sense.

The event at Tindley was pretty diverse, though it was of course much smaller.

Temple though...never have there been so many white people in North Philly at once for something that's not an Owls game.

No not really. Sandy Hook is the worst crime to happen in America since 9/11 and now the parents are trying to sue the gun sellers and Bernie has voted for a bill that give these people immunity.

This is what I don't get. We politicize situations to create change. If we didn't politicize it, then change wouldn't get made. Do people really think that organizations like BLM or HRC are any different? Bad things happen, and they politicize them to try to enact change of some form.

I don't get the big deal. To me, the only inappropriate thing I've seen is when Sanders fans (on my Facebook) will say that Christians should vote for Bernie because he's a Jewish socialist like Bernie...

Sorry, but you can't appropriate a historic or religious figure that never spoke on something like socialism to fit your own beliefs. That's not appropriate.

When her back is against the wall she gets desperate. The thing is Bernie isn't even challenging her. She's injuring herself and he's exploiting that . If she just chills until the 14th, bloody him there and chills until the 19th and 26th she'll have this wrapped up for her. She still should but she's making it hard
