it's a max production, so he'll tell her to keep it "simple". no belting, no creative vocals. i don't think we're getting joyful joyful or somewhere over the rainbow vocals. i hope they prove me wrong though.
and yeah, i agree the movie probably won't be as big. it's a sequel to a tim burton movie that tim burton didn't direct. i think he only functions as producer here. i haven't seen the first part and i doubt i will watch the 2nd, but the effects look rather bad in the trailer. but then again, i'm not one for movies that are 90% CGI.

It's even sadder when a singer refers to her vocal talent as screaming instead of belting because she's incapable of paying herself a straight-forward compliment.
