It's always very easy to tell whether a Rihanna (non-lead) single will smash or not based on the songs' initial performances, and all signs are indicating that KIB will underperform and Needed Me is ready to smash, unless pop radio pushes KIB REALLY hard. The non-event video is already out and she doesn't have time/platform for a big promo performance, which sucks because KIB is one of the best pop songs I've heard in years.

Stay had the one boost from the Grammys and video, and it skyrocketed up the charts right away. But there's no more fuel left to catalyze KIB. It's all up to pop radio now and I'm not optimistic.
