The only thing I need is the little hyperlink arrow that loads to the last unread post. Going to the last page and having to track backwards to the last unread one is a hassle on the beta.

Girl, there's a reason it's a beta. As we keep using it and giving feedback to Athens and the others, it'll look better and nicer. Also, it looks so much more fresh than this circa 2006 site.
tbh Old ATRL's layout has a certain charm to it, it's v hip and v, um, cool. All that was really needed was less 522s and notifications when someone quotes you

And those are impossible to achieve on vBulletin. That's why it's necessary to upgrade to a modern software.
