The primaries are about deciding the nominee for a PARTY, so just because we are in a red state, we are STILL Democrats, and we still have a say in our party's nominee. And then when Hillary dominated the Southern primaries, there were several Bernie supporters who routinely maligned and degraded black Southern democrats for overwhelmingly voting for Hillary, calling them "low-information" and "ignorant". It was the single lowest point of this entire Democratic primary, and the sane Bernie supporters would be smart to walk away from those statements, rather than supporting them and putting it all on the "race card".
. But at the end of the day it doesn't matter to me anymore because she made amends for it.
