I wouldn't be surprised, to be honest. Her golden Globe win might give her enough credibility to at least get a nomination. It might also help her if she campaigns for an Emmy nom like she did with TIHTY and the Oscars.

Everyone predicted her to win with TIHTY, you can't hold that against them. Interesting to see her in same category as Sarah and Kathy. Imagine if all three were nominated? I hope finally Sarah snatches it though.

Last year Sarah lost because she, Angela and Kathy were nominated for the same show but now she will get a nod for ACS so she has a big chance of winning

She's been top favorite for American Crime Story, a role that finally separates her from her AHS family competition. Gaga and Kathy nominations in general would be a surprise, so I don't see them being contenders against Sarah's possible win. Still, just seeing all three in a category would be great. Pull through Gaga.

OK I'm on my laptop now so,

That category has 3 big contenders for win Sarah Paulson (ACS: People vs. OJ), Kerry Washington (Confirmation), Kirsten Dunst (Fargo). Then comes the filler nominations from American Crime ladies Felicity Huffman and Lili Taylor both of whom are amazing. And final spot goes to Kathy Bates because she is an Oscar-winning veteran and name-checking her is as easy as it gets. Then as a spoiler we have Rachel McAdams who was the saving grace of True Detective's second season and just got an Oscar nomination for the Best Picture winner Spotlight. Then there are Angela Lansbury and Blythe Danner, and people think Audra McDonald stands a chance so it is really hard for Gaga to beat all of these people.

Then again in the last 16 years only once Golden Globe winner was not nominated at the Emmys in her category so I might be completely wrong.

Can't wait for Actors on Actors tho Love watcing them I bet she is gonna be with Sarah Paulson or John Travolta.

I hope she gets nominated I'm rooting for Kerry Washington (Confirmation) but doubt she'll surpass Paulson's hype. But I love Paulson too and if she wins I'll be happy too.

Kathy Bates doesn't deserve to win this at all. Her role on AHS was very little, she should go as supporting instead. But there's the name checking so she'll probably take Gaga's spot
