I always said I bet she watched Adele's lead up to 25 and liked how Adele sort of did find a path between completely surprise-releasing her song but still causing an inevitable shock factor. I could see her do sth similar, so basically what you said. Maybe a release date out of nowhere or a teaser of the mini movie, and the actual album/film/lead single a week later. It would be the perfect combination of shock factor + immediate release (but enough time to let word of mouth do its thing)
But if it's true that she isn't surprise releasing I feel like it's very unlikely that we will get anything this weekend
I don't think she cares that she launched Ivy Park today because she could always do a big push for that the days before on Insta and Facebook. But I feel like we'll definitely have to wait until Elle hits the shelves
