Hillary (or Bernie if he pulls through) is our next president. Trump is unelectable after his abortion comments, and he will run as an independent if he doesn't get the nomination, killing the chances for any Republican.

I also predict that the Republicans are dead after this election. They might survive for a few more elections, but I think the sane Republicans will jump ship for the Libertarians.

Agree with the first part. No way either democrat loses to Trump at this point. I was skeptical of Bernie's chances before (his chances are still suspect tbh) but after his comments I don't see many woman even wanting to consider him

But I feel like the republicans will build on this next election cycle lol. Trump won't permanently **** up the party

I think what Trump had in mind when he made his abortion comment was like a tax on abortion procedures / pills, but the word "punishment" is hilariously bad here

Poor choice of words, but what he said is not wrong. If abortions were to become illegal (which it won't and rightfully so), then yes it is a crime therefore some penalty should be given. But that is a big if that should never and will never happen again in our lifetimes and hopefully more after that.

If he were to just say these things like i'm saying it, he'll actually come off as more sensible. He's a very bad speaker.
