But, NM WILL do better than KIB as long as Rhenna doesn't sabotage it (waiting too long to release the video, Tidal exclusive mess, etc).
KIB getting a video already while Work is still dominating and while NM simultaneously got sent to radio and while she's on tour with no promotional performances lined up for it = wasted potential.

Well they're right this time, but only bc its obvious. Needed Me was already low-key slaying.
I love Ari but Rihanna generally makes better music than her
8 albums vs 2. Ari is still developing but I can tell her artistic instincts and natural talent trump Frih's. Her voice alone has gotten so much better in the past year.
Dangerous Woman tries so hard to build itself up, but it really fails and it comes off as contrived, whereas Kiss It Better flows so well and everything about it sounds so organic. You'd have to be really uneducated musically to say that Dangerous Woman is the better song.
People aren't "sure" about either of these singles but everyone seemed sure that Work would flop. Moral: don't listen to fomos (esp. Taylor Swift fans).

It's about 50/50, which means it'll be a toss up.
In my world, KIB would be a What Now? sized flop and Needed Me will be her The Hills, but then part of me thinks it'll be the total opposite.
Why is everything Ariana does so bleh? Sure she has great vocal abilities and good songs but she's just so painfully boring. At least Yours Truly was quirky and fun.
It's pretty dumb to call Damgerous Woman an excellent song. Kiss It Better is pop bliss. If the guitar riff is so "typical" then why is there nothing similar to it anywhere on the Hot 100 currently?
It's also #1 in Taiwan
