You just don't want to comply with RIAA and Billboard actual charts.
In any event, it doesn't matter as her certs won't be combined and when people do see them it will say combined and or people will believe they are including group sales.
Funny how the Army gets toted as not accepting what's actual and factual.
But again it's always cool to see people admit their faves numbers as solo are not nearly as great so let's add group sales to make us feel better.

I understand the charts have to count each act separately. That's how the metric works. Purple Rain is credited to "Prince and The Revolution" on Billboard 200 cause that's the group he created it under.
But it doesn't remove the artist at the center of the equation. If someone asks, "How many albums has Prince sold?", it's factually his solo "Prince" work + all the other group work he did (The Revolution, New Power Generation, Madhouse, etc.).
Same with Beyonce. If they ask DC sales, it's DC sales, if they specify solo sales, it's solo sales. If they ask for Beyonce's sales period, it's both solo "Beyonce" work + all the group work she did.
If Beyonce released another DC album in the future, would it not count toward her total?
