The only thing missing from last year's top ten in the final is Slovenia, which should've taken Australia's or Serbia's spot. For the rest, most places were deserved.
A "great vocalist" is what you call Polina Gagarina and Dina Garipova, not someone who can hit 4 notes. He can hit them well, sure, but come on. This is a song contest anyway and he can sing his (mediocre) song very well so that doesn't matter.

This only ending 9th was a real crime. Had it been Russia's song, it would've come for Molitva.
If you liked her it's maybe worth to check this out. She was a contestant on a singing show and I didn't really like her much at the time but this performance is so flawless imo. Still listen to it occasionally.
This Belgian guy I know spilled some boiling tea on Loïc Nottet, the Belgian dude from last year. Apparently despite his shy power bottom appearence he actually enjoys the d to the point that he's always in clubs in Brussels hooking up with guys and dating a different one every week
