The thing is: I bought gaga's fame and fame monster but I like having a go at stans of artists that either a) never had a diamond album at peak b) struggle to go top 10, 10 years into their career c) are unable to make iconic pop moments without it being derived from something that was original or d) all of the above.
Still want gaga and xtina to comeback because all icons deserve at least one comeback. Look at bieber.
Gaga's songs are One Sweet Day'd - huge hits that have no impact anymore, namely the Born This Gay era.
Love On Top peaked at #20 and is more remembered than any song from that era, and Run The World (Girls) peaked at #29 and is more remembered than any Faga song except Poker Face (for now). Faga is just the Electro-pop Ashanti without a song as big and iconic as Foolish.
She already is. 2 bad albums won't take away the fact that she has the greatest discography of all time.
You can't have the best discography of all time when you have 3 bad albums. + She would be much more respected without her messy behavior in the last years.
But yeah, Madonna's highs might be better than Björk's highs.
I don't think it's up for debate at this point.
