lmao, but really. I am kind of disappointed. They kind of need to do more DLC. Like even the last "affinity missions" felt like they needed an ending. Like, okay. I have a few left to go, **** you Phog and Frye, but most were lacking in the end. I did love them and some of the normal missions were a kii, but I'm left wanting more story. I have dozens of tyrants to kill, but I want the charm of more. You really only get to know your two main boos while the other... 372747272 partners you have get barely fleshed out. I would love for them to do a mission with everyone where it requires a full affinity with them. The fact that you only ever need one heart with Gwin while most you need like 4. Did him dirty.
I really did love this game and I know I'm nowhere near done, but I am kind of sad the actual like bonding and knowing the characters you control and the characters around town is kinda over. I guess I do need to get Mia finally. What an angel she is. I mean, Heart to Hearts are so bare in this, it feels like. Part of me wishes I didn't discover Cauldros and everything well before I should have. I spent like 30 minutes one day just swimming from Noctilun to Cauldros and **** just because it was fun.

I actually think the affinity missions for
Celica
reveal a lot about ha past and character, but many of the others are either free of interesting info or just use tired storylines (feuding brothers, shy kid who needs courage, etc.).
The thing about maxing affinity is that you NEED to do it all if you want to 100% New LA since the heart-to-hearts count for the hexagons. Getting max affinity for my non-used characters (
Hope, Phog, Frye, the Murderess
) was pretty annoying, and those affinity quests you unlock after beating the game were not nearly as useful as I thought they'd be. Like 1/6 a heart is not enough
At least I don't need to bother with the DLC characters since completing their missions/h2hs doesn't fill in any hexagons
