TTT lowkey actually is a personal album, the reflecting on a past lover+the ultra sexual lyrics perfectly describe her situation in 2011/12 when she was reconnecting with Chris so at least lyrically the album has a narrative unlike say Loud

Loud is just an era from L.A. Reid to make Rih at the top a la Mariah's The Emancipation of Mimi. That's why it doesn't sound personal to Rih and I think she doesn't acknowledge its songs anymore for that reason. I wouldn't say that she was forced to record it, but I think deep down she wanted something different, no? At least this is what Rih thinks about it nowadays.

P.S. I think What's My Name? is the only song that Rih will perform in her future tours off the album Loud.

It really gets on my nerves how some "navy" make threads trying to make Rih comparable to someone else, or says things that eventually will get her dragged. It's so annoying and uncalled for. Rihanna is Rihanna. She just said in the Vogue interview that she can only be herself. No one can do that for her. Let her stand on her own merits and not on someone elses. She's made her mark on music and fashion. She still has a long way to go..let's see where that leads.

I love Madonna but if truth be told, what you wrote is very true. The minute Madonna lost her American accent and started talking British, I was like wyd? I noticed her dramatics didn't change when she propped her leg up at the Tidal signing but that's Madonna and as a fan, you know this about her. She's not the most genuine but it's ok.

They are just very different as we keep trying to point out.

It's almost eerie how accurate all those songs were in regards to her personal life. I mean I know they're general songs but wow and Do Ya Thang was basically her 2012 autobiography, Queen of songwriting
