Just got my first loss on my pokken battle record. Lost against a Pikachu (I think) while using Gengar. I jut can't understand how to use Gengar

Who are y'all maining and who would be back up mains? I main Braixen, and would probably use Gardevoir, Mewtwo and Chandelure for backup
