I was forced all the way through elementary and middle school, but in high school I believe I only had to take it for one year. Like for one year I took general P.E. but after that I could only take a class that focused on a specific section of that like Team Sports or Weight Training, and I wasn't here for those.

In good ole South Carolina only 1 semester is required. You can take JROTC(?) and skip it too.

Gym (or Physical Education) was only required here in Canada until your first year of high school. After that it was optional.

My college gives us a free gym membership while were studying and sends weekly emails "Did you workout this week?" with a photo some buff man judging you, as if he knows your eating McDonalds well reading the emails.

If you're outside of the US: Daylight Savings Time started for us on Sunday, so our clocks went forward an hour, now causing maintenance to be an hour later for all.
