Spotify performance will improve once the video is out for sure. Youtube views are Meghan's greatest strength but NO isnt there right now

I meant the impact of promo is overrated. Gives a short boost but doesn't do much in the long run and songs that will smash can do that on airplay alone usually.

Why are u making such a big deal about the red updates? There's no promo, not even an audio video at her Vevo. Some ppl don't even know she released new music, and it's still holding at top 5 with radio support only.
Meghan has no name yet to hold up a song at #1 for long without video and promo. I mean, look at her social media numbers, it's pretty awful.
Skechers USA Inc. has teamed up with Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor on a multi-platform marketing campaign to launch its Skechers Originals retro sneaker collection.
Trainor‘s first television commercial for the campaign will officially hit the airwaves next week and features the lead single “No” from her sophomore album “Thank You,” which will be available worldwide on May 13.
Manhattan Beach-based Skechers (NYSE: SKX) on Thursday revealed a preview of the global TV campaign with behind-the-scenes images from the set. An extended version of the commercial also will debut on YouTube.
The overall campaign recently kicked off with print ads, online and in-store images as well as via Trainor‘s social media channels. Skechers said those ads have already reached her millennial fans who have already boosted sales of the new collection.
Trainor’s deal with Skechers extends through 2017 across all media platforms including television, print, online, social media, outdoor and point of purchase.
“I can’t wait to travel the world and see my face in Skechers stores – it still blows my mind! It’s an honor and dream to work with a big brand like Skechers,” Trainor said on the set of her Skechers commercial.
“For my new album I wanted to change it up with a different sound and a fresh new look – including my red hair transformation. I think it takes confidence to take risks and be original. Skechers has truly embraced this message in the new #MTrainSkechers campaign, and I can’t wait for my fans to see it!”
Skechers President Michael Greenberg called Trainor an “inspirational artist with many impressive accomplishments at only 22.”
“With the media attention after her well-deserved win at the Grammy Awards and her new album, Meghan’s impact as an influencer continues to grow,” Greenberg said. “Young women around the world are inspired by her, so we couldn’t be happier that Meghan is a member of the Skechers family.”
I am worried about the call out scores and burn rate for this song. Its totally instant catchy but burns fast from what I noticed with just a week out.

Its OK cause I adore this song. I hope this does well cause its a bop. I may not be right but I just had a feeling about it and expressed my opinion. This is a fun record and it deserves success.
