True. Some of the best videos are from artists who are fairly unknown.
And though videos aren't played on regular TV, they still get the recognition. Critics review videos more often, you have Youtube which plays a part in selling a song when people go to watch. Not to mention online streaming of videos, online premieres, being able to buy on iTunes. To discredit videos just because they aren't on TV anymore is basically saying we don't need videos anymore.
