 Of course it didn't get a wide release. What studio company in their right mind would throw money at one of her projects when she's been at it for well over a decade and has never had any capability of filling seats? They made the right choice considering more people live in my college dorm building than went to go see her last movie.
And great, no one has ever said that Britney was well-received by critics, but you're sitting here acting like Emmett is the favorite anything of anyone, anywhere.
