What is this fallacy of Whitney not being emotive?
Her voice was emotive, expressive, dynamic. It was everything and more.
Her voice has always just felt incredibly hollow to me, you know? I've never been moved by a Whitney song, or made to feel anything at all other than a desire to reach for the skip button.

I actually haven't gotten into Nina yet. I feel like now would be the perfect time with that movie coming out and her recent documentary is supposed to be really good.

The documentary is amazing. I really wanted it to win the Oscar but I knew Amy had it in the bag.
Considering she's one of my faves, I can help you try and get into her if you want...?

nnn. That must be a personal thing. Cause... no one else would ever describe her voice as "hollow"
