Whitney got those same criticisms. Not sure about Celine. I personally think Celine sings with feeling. I think most of her material sucks, but her tone carries more emotion (maybe it is because her vocal is less pristine and perfect than Whitney & Mariah)
I wish Ariana recorded Britneys He About to Lose Me. That song was a really good one production wise, and had a very catchy melody in the chorus. It just needed a good vocal. I would say Xtina but I think her voice is too heavy to carry that song

I prefer Whiney's late voice cause there was more feeling to it, in my opinion, and to me Céline is a bigger force than Mariah because of that same reason too
