A rate is where you can rate songs by an artist. 0-10, an 11 is used for one or two songs that you absolutely love.
You must personally message your ratings for each song to the host of said rate within the amount of time they give you.
A discography rate is where you rate basically everything they released up to that point.
A singles rate - same thing but with singles.
Essentials rate - a discography rate but with no singles.
And a rate doesn't necessarily need to be just one artist, you can have several, but as long as it fits the theme you're going for.
In order for a rate to happen, you must sign up in the rates thread (in base) and have a moderator approve it.
