So in my futile efforts to sleep, I had a pokemon idea for a cute type combo that I figured I'd share with y'all.
Glaesear (insp. Glacier, Sear, Gliese 436b, the Burning Ice planet)
"Burning Ice" Pokemon
Ice/Fire Type
Pokedex Entry: An anomaly of science, this Pokemon's outer body is always burning, but internal temperatures of Glaesear have been recorded to be under 100 degrees Celsius.
Stat distribution: 50 HP/35 Attack/100 Defense/108 Special attack/100 Sp. Defense/43 Speed (436 BST, in reference to the planet)
Abilities: Solid Rock/Flame Body/Levitate (Hidden Ability)
Since I don't feel like making a list of all the moves it could learn, lemme just list potential movesets.
Gravity/Fire Blast/Blizzard/Thunder
Calm Mind or Cosmic Power/Recover/Stored Power/Ice Beam or Flamethrower
Trick Room/Ice Beam/Flamethrower/Thunderbolt
Stealth Rock/Rapid Spin/Haze/Explosion
Ice Beam/Flamethrower/Power Gem or Focus Blast/Thunderbolt
It could also do Gravity/Sheer Cold/Inferno/Zap Cannon just for fun
EDIT: Forgot to mention it would also be able to use some Water moves, in particular, Scald, which would make it the only Ice type to be able to learn it. It'd also be able to Surf.
Very cool! I hadn't heard of Gliese 436b before, but now I'm really intrigued to check it out.
