MTribe (and many other M forums) are filled with old bears bitching about how much they hate Stale Trashdy, MDNslAy, and Rebel Art, how much they want Ray of Light pt.2 and how much they want the "old Madonna" back. I'm too young and hip to deal with that messT.
Ugh leave my people alone. Am I da unicorn of this group because I have loved everything she's ever come out with?
Not gonna lie I do miss old Madonna but I'm a Stan and nothing makes me happier than new music and new visions from her.
Hard Candy - great album in my opinion although Zpanish Lessons makes me cringe because I'm Cuban lol
MDNa - good album, I still don't skip it and honestly lots of great song and a great trinity of songs
Rebel Heart - great album and omg all the demos gave me life, some great, some ******, but all this new Madonna music had me losing it
Can we all talk about the "What it feels like for a girl" video and song?
First of all - I see Madonna talks about it as being women doing things they're "not allowed to do," but it seems to be a hell of a lot more than that.
And secondly, what's up with the trance mix?
Ugh da Above & Beyond mix is everything. I remember goin to Ultra when it premiered I ****in lost it.
I love all three versions of this song. The original one is such a great song lyrically. The remix is killer fits da video and the Spanish version is super cute. She performed it on Drowned World.
IMO MTribe is a HATE site. People there always act like M is some dumb pop tart who has lost her mind since 2008. The FIRST things they said after the announcement of Tears Of A Clown were how awkward and embarrassing it would be, oh and they want her to disappear from the public for years so that she can build back her reputation. MTribe just screams "old bitter gay men in mid-life crisis" to me.
MNation is a mess and a half with all the meltdowns and over-protective fans, but at least most people there love and respect M unlike MTribe.
It's the same with SayHey, the biggest (and I guess only lmao) Kylie forum. The insider tea is spectacular and 10000% legit, but the negativity on that site is unbearable. All they do is criticize, tear down and insult Kylie. They have zero respect for her. I totally agree that having constructive criticism and taking the stan googles off is a good thing, but that place is just so extra. I fell really bad for Kylie that her core fan base is like that. It seems to be a recurring problem among us

That is the trashiest forum outside of MadonnaNation
I just talked to the owner of a record shop and she cant get me 3 other things but can't order stuff from the U.S. since she doesn't have a good enough supplier I'm just hoping I'll be swift with one that pops up on eBay or something.

I definitely love a lot of her stuff (probably like 90%) of it at least. When I pick things as my trinity or ranking it's just the ones I like the most which doesn't mean I don't like the others.
As much as I say that Like A Prayer and Ray of Light are boring, I do listen to them quite often.
But my statements are still true about Dear Jessie, Jimmy Jimmy, Love Makes The World Go Round and Incredible. Those songs really are **** and I refuse to listen to.
You can love her and her output and still be excited for what she does while being critical of her... You don't have to love everything, though it's good that you do. I wish I could find redeeming qualities in some of her output.

People on MTribe were literally telling her to RETIRE after the Brits fall. Whenever I visit there it makes me FUME, but the place seems to have improved over the past few months. M-infinity is more well-balanced but it's not active enough for me. TBH this base is the best place for M discussions. We don't take things too seriously.

This. I love most of what M does but not everything.

Dear Jessie is the cutest song ever, the unofficial Christmas smash that got away tbh.
Rebel Heart is Madonna's least focused/polished album.
Honestly I wish the leaks never happened and Madonna wasn't forced to rush out the first 6 tracks and was able to plan out the double album as planned.
The Rebel/Heart idea would have been awesome for her to pull off, I think the two covers we have are kind of the direction she was going with both ideas. This era could have been so much more than what it was already was.

I was just joking lol Madonna doesn't actually have any terrible/bad albums, some are just better than others. Despite what many fans say, MDNA and Rebel Heaart and practically all of her new music from this decade include highlights which I would consider as being great pop music.
MDNA is so cohesive, like you said it has great songs like Gang Bang, Girl Gone Wild, Love Spent etc. and Rebel Heart's erratic composition actually makes it my most played Madonna album overall due to it's diversity in terms of themes, genres and style. Devil Pray, Body Shop, Ghosttown, Inside Out, Living For Love are excellent. I wish she followed through with the two disc idea rather than allow interscope to manipulate her vision
