am i the only one that thinks that ahs doesn't really have villains?
like, some people consider constance, sally, mr march, the countess or marie laveau as villains but i really don't see it.
dr thredson is the only one i saw as such and hated as such.
i hope the characters in season 6 will have better morals and stuff.

this. as soon as they started making literally nearly EVERY single character have this dark, unrelatably evil presence consuming them in FS and H, especially, the show kind of lost me. the first three seasons are so great, because you really rooted for Mrs. Harmon, Lana, Kit, Cordelia, etc., because they were good people surrounded by evil and unfortunate events. Hotel, especially, is full of horrible people who do horrible things. there are no humans, just evil people/creatures. it becomes boring, because there is really no one to root for. i hope they change this and make the characters relatable in AHS6--good characters that you want to come out victorious.

Of course. When there were news about Slender Man circling around, EW refuted them and said that there will be nothing about AHS6 until March

What's your definition of a villain? Dandy Mott was clearly a villain. Stanley was also. Don't underestimate Freak Show. Murder House barely had any. Tate was just emotionally disturbed and Hayden was a bitch. Coven's villains were a comedic bitchfest and Hotel also had that sort of humor to it.
So you're probably right with all this but I would add the 2 Freaks mentioned above as villains.

It really makes me laugh when people use the term "relatable characters." There is nothing relatable about AHS. Please watch another show if u want characters to relate to.

There were characters to root for but nothing relatable.

i think you're misunderstanding what i'm saying. i'm not literally saying i can relate to lana, because i, too, was a lesbian locked in an asylum and kidnapped by an insane serial killer. rather, i'm saying her storyline was "relatable" in the sense that i felt for her and wanted to root for her, because she was a good person with human, real person characteristics. i could imagine myself in her position, and that's what makes it relatable--her human-like tendencies. you understand her and feel for her, because she was a relatively innocent person locked in a horrible setting. all of that, vs. the countess or anyone from Hotel, who were just all evil people. the storylines and character development are so unrealstic that you couldn't imagine yourself in their shoes, because it just makes no sense. and even the Freaks from FS. they were murderous and i felt distant from them, because their actions didn't really make sense and i never cared for them. but you can't tell me that you couldn't relate to Vivian, Lana, Kit, or Cordelia if you were in their positions in a haunted house, an asylum, or a witch war, respectively.
THAT is what i'm tying to say. FS and H introduced characters who were static, one-dimensional evil, and mostly inhumane people who you neither cared for nor wanted to see victorious.

Hotel had those as well, mainly Liz and Alex, and to a certain extent John. Especially with the latter, it really made me wonder what I'd do in his situation, when everything around you is crumbling into nothing.
Liz and Alex were definitely the only "good" characters this season though.

yup, I'm still not over the finale and what they did to Alex.
She had like 2 scenes and she was sleeping in one.
I hope Chloe is in season 6

I have to agree.
Sometimes it felt like Freak Show and Hotel's characters did things for the sake of the plot and not cause they're natural human reactions.
I still love both seasons, though. Even FS had its moments, even if they were few and far in between

^^^ agree with you entirely. really like FS some time after, and Hotel, but it just doesn't sit well with me. hope the next season is absolutely nothing like it.
also your avatar is flawless

i agree with you about Liz. you're 100% right, but Liz was really the only redeemable character of Hotel (and one of AHS's finest characters, for sure). but Alex and John were both awful. terrible parents and boring, one-dimensional characters whose decisions made 0 sense. i hated them both and wanted them to die practically from the beginning.
