The YouTube videos are free and you can create your own workout routine.
Since I'm a flop and don't know which days I should work on a specific exercise, I purchased their workout program. They organize a Calender for you with their YouTube videos.
I've heard dozens of people with reasonable assessments say completely different things about this. I think I'll just find out what Mark Rippetoe says and go with that.
I'd be interested in seeing what other people say on this. I have a degree in sports coaching and it's one of the basic principles you learn in introductory classes.

2-3 weeks is pretty normal. Can take a couple months sometimes. Just keep at it, challenge yourself wherever possible, switch up your routine.
I've started going back to the gym more recently, because I'm getting ready for Coachella.
I'm trying to just stay lean, so I do a lot of cardio. I run on the treadmill for like 45 minutes, then do the elliptical for half an hour.
I've started to do the shoulder press machine at 10lbs just to tone my upper body, and give my shoulder/pecs some definition. Is there something else I could do to also do that?
