I am a fan of Taylor but even I can admit 1989 did NOT deserve to win Album of the year. On par with TS as her worst album. I can't wait for the hype to die down and her fans to realize in a few years how much she dumbed her writing and her sound down

(Though Fearless deserved to win and Speak Now was completely snubbed when it's easily her best album.)
I feel like the Grammys are losing a ton of credibility... The nominations since 2013 have been pitiful. They totally snub older artists with legitimate musicianship in favor of glorifying pop music's most successful releases. I mean, Ariana Grande's mediocre Katy Perry leftover album, Miley Cyrus's unlistenable album bar WCS and WB, and Iggy Azalea being nominated in major categories? Songs like "Roar", "See You Again", "Fancy" "Shake It Off", "Cant Feel My Face", etc. being dubbed "best songs/recordings of the year"? That's terrible. And those were only a few. The nominations this year were by far the worse. Meghan Trainor winning best new artist?!?!? SERIOUSLY? The girl thinks she's Mother Mary of songwriting when she's probably one of the most generic and bland writers out there.

Her voice and performing skills are mediocre at best, it still genuinely shocks me that she won. The Grammy's have absolutely nothing to do with musical excellency anymore and are about as "prestigious" as a VMA
And don't even get me started about the actual show. The performances this year were an atrocity. Even music's best singers (Adele, Carrie Underwood) were awful. And the fact they let Demi Lovato scream a Lionel Richie Tribute when she wasn't even nominated baffles me. How much did she have to do to pity them into letting her perform?
