I was poor, so only 3 people in my junior high had one. But this one guy had it in 2 of my classes and used to cheat with it on tests.
I had the basic Nokia phone as my first cell phone.
In my school, you were a loser if you couldn't go to the movies alone on Fri and Sat nights. Most people didn't even watch the movies; it was just a status symbol of independence.
