I mean, like him or not(and I loathe him), he's been playing by their rules these whole time, whether or not he represents the party well or not is not up to them to decide, it's up to the voters. That's the whole point of a primary.

Basically they're screwed, no matter what happens.
1. They leave Trump alone and he wins. Then the traditional GOP party has a cow, throw up a third party candidate, and they split the republican vote.
2. They screw over Trump, nominating another republican during the convention. Trump then runs as an independent and splits the republican vote.
