I hope it's for Sugarpova and not something else. She has recently said that her chocolate products should be coming this spring. I'm still worried tough
^^
I saw this earlier today, I nearly fainted. This better be for Chocopova or idk a new sponsor...
I am not here for a surgery or even a retirement.
Let's pray

Would she really do a press conference for a chocolate product?

Hope it's not retirement, but that wouldn't be completely out of the blue, I guess. She's only played 3 tournaments since Wimbledon last year and is injured all the time.
I could see it being her last year on tour - not an immediate retirement, especially with the Olympics to come. Still would be surprising to me to hear her call it quits.

Serena really destroyed her.
She's gonna be a helluva businesswoman off courts so she's not really at a loss.
I hate you Genie for putting me through 6 hours of torture and choking the match in the end.
Pidgeon to freaking Svitolina.
Total flop in finals.
Still struggling physically and concussion problems resurfacing after lengthy intense physical activity?
Even if Maria Sharapova doesn't announce her retirement tomorrow, she is certain to go within a few years.
Sharapova, Federer, Venus are all approaching the expiration date on their careers...and I fear that aside from Azarenka, there'll be no one worth the emotional investment of watching all their matches and rooting for them. Sure, there's a few youngsters out there, but I don't feel the same attachment to them. It's even worse on the ATP; Federer is the only player I truly love.
