But wait, why shouldn't they? It's become clear Trump is not a Republican, to be quite honest. His views don't really fit anywhere and he's still opposed by like 65% of Republican primary voters nationwide. General election Republican voters are even more moderate than their primary season counterparts, so the idea that the Republicans would oppose him at any cost isn't that crazy.
He's less representative of the GOP than Sanders is of the Democrats, and is additionally a far more divisive and controversial figure.
It's sort of how Bloomberg would run if Clinton lost, but a whole party reacting instead of one major candidate.
And honestly I LOVE and support the Republicans for refusing to accept Trump as their nominee!
