I'm confused. A fan asked Lauren if the album has a ballad song like Who Are You and she basically said that she doesn't know yet, but maybe not. I think they didn't finish the album 100%.

I'm so sad because there's a snippet of a possible 5H song that I REALLY wanted on the album. It's so beautiful. It's not a full ballad, though... so I'm hoping we're going to hear it.

She can't say yes or no for sure because it's up to the label which songs make the cut. That doesnt mean they didnt record a hundred ballads. We'll all find out in May

So apparently after Work From Home finished playing on Capital, the DJ said that it's not their official single and she's heard the real one (which is produced by Max Martin) and said that it's incredible. So I guess that means that they plan to release the international single pretty soon, but I'm kind of hoping they hold off and just release it as a worldwide second single since Work From Home is almost Top 10 in the UK right now

I'm in need of this being a hit in the UK though. It deserves appreciation.

They probably expected Work From Home to flop everywhere outside the US since the urban-pop sound isn't really popular anywhere else. But now that it's actually doing well overseas, they'd be pretty dumb to let that go to waste and release another single before Work From Home has peaked. Why get 1 hit in Europe when you can easily get 2?

Then again, Maverick and Epic (probably mostly Maverick though

) have done an amazing job so far this era, so I trust that they have good reasons for whatever they choose to do.

Yup. I don't think they even expected it to do this well in the US. I think they'll hold off if this becomes really huge in the UK. Hopefully at least. Save the "international single" for a 2nd overall single and release it in May. Release the music video the week the album comes out tbh

I really hope they keep this international single

Work From Home has such a huge potential to be a WW hit and it will just distract fans tbh. I never quite understood the idea of having two singles out there. It's like, 50/50 the attention each gets.

WFM is already doing good on it's own in the UK. It's almost Top 10 with literally no promotion there. I seriously hope they reconsider this

I hope this "I don't know yet" thing makes there's no final decision on to what are the songs on the album because that could also possibly mean they up the number of songs that are gonna be in. They have to be really dumb to think 12 tracks is enough for a deluxe album. It should be at least like Reflection.

Yeah, I was listening to Capital when they announced this as well. I think they'll change the plans tho, since WFM is nearly top 10 on iTunes UK and it's nearly top 30 on Spotify UK. Plus Capital just play listed it, too.
