Needed Me does not really sound like a typical urban song IMO.
Hmm. I agree I suppose. I mean it's very clearly intended for urban radio, which will eat the **** out of it whether she releases it or not. But I think it has a certain degree of crossover potential, not enough to perform well in Europe though.
Love On The Brain, with the right promotion & and an epic video - would be the perfect choice for the second single. At this point, Rih's team needs a serious strategy in order for ANTi to achieve longevity.
2nd Single: Love On The Brain
3rd Single: Needed Me
4th Single: Never Ending
5th and final Single: Kiss it Better
Anyway a double second single would be perfect.
Needed me for urban, and Kiss it better for pop and Europe!
Honestly that would be perfect. Rihanna's success comes from her crossover appeal. She's able to succeed on both urban and Pop radio formats. Why not take advantage with one urban and one pop single?! Best way to market her honestly
Yes, KIB has flop written all over it. Yes, KIB is going to be released. Sometimes singles don't get released just because their potential sales. We have Needed Me and Work for that, the album is not radio friendly, stop trying to look for hits everywhere.

We need a hit because the album is doing bad and it will do even worse when Work dies.
But again if they don't care why should I. Imo every song is good enough to be a single.
Kiss It Better is great. Stop underestimating it's appeal and impact and stop disrespecting it. It's amazing. And it's my favorite Rihanna song. Thank you.
