Best picture needs to go to Spotlight honestly the only 3 films that are strong contenders for best picture are Room, Revenant and Spotlight and from the 3 films Spotlight is the one that has it all to take the Oscar .... As far as Best actor I think it should go to Leo he did very good in the Revenant. He carried the movie himself I mean just watcing it I felt that the movie was made just so Leo could shine and he really did as of winning Best Picture I think it needed something more idk just it's not 10/10 like Spotlight it's like 9.2/10 ....if that makes sene

There are thousands of voters in the Academy. A bunch of ballots isn't going to reflect what the mayority of them think.

Best Actress - I want Brie to win
Best Supporting Actor - I want Mark Rylance

Best Supporting Actress - I think Kate Winslet or Alicia Vikander has it, but I really thought Jennifer Jason Leigh was amazing in it, and did a fantastic performance and want her to win.

He won LITERALLY ALL the precursor awards for the Oscars(GG, SAG, CC, BAFTA, among others)

Room has really zero chance at winning, unless something really messes up the Best Picture ballots.

The fight is really among Spotlight and Big Short... They swept every award except GG and BAFTA, and Golden Globe has never been a real indicator of the Best Picture winner...

Spotlight won Critic's Choice and International Press Academy, while The Big Short won the Producer's Guild (in the past 25 years, 17 PGAs went to the same Best Picture winner), both don't really look like Best Picture winners, but it's between them.

And both will take home Screenlay awards, and there's a chance Big Short gets Best Editing, if it's not Mad Max.

I rule out Leonardo immediately because it's a ridiculous performance. They are running his campaign based on how hard it was to make the movie, right? I'm tired of hearing about it — that's what he gets paid for!
