Okay, after giving it another try and another watch, I do like the performance even better and the vocals are not that horrible but they are still bad, let's blame the bronchitis for that. Hopefully it'll get better soon and maybe she could do another performance before the tour or something
I just watched it on FUSE and actually despite a couple parts here and there the vocals werent bad. Drake brought down the energy of the performance though.
it suppose to be a fun song. music isnt always about perfect vocals. shes already proven she can sing and she will again when she releases future singles love on the brain/never ending/kiss it better but anyway i loved it. it was visually pleasing. rihanna got her life. the dancing was cute and the chemistry and dancing between her and drake really made this great. after 3 rihanna/drake collabos im officially stanning for drake. he really is daddy.
For the people giving her a hard time about her breath control need to realize that the chorus for WORK is very hard to sing. Especially while dancing at that. The entire chorus has to be sung in one breath because the lines literally run into each other theres no spaces there to really catch your breath otherwise you'd be off key. Im not saying it was perfect I'm just saying that now she knows that doing it live is a no go from now on.
She should just do the ad-libs for the chorus. And the verses thats all.
Omg. That was super ****ing cute. Consideration was pretty awesome but too short.
She just needs to practice on the styling of Work live. It's hard to sing it in the way that she does on the album. Not a bad first performance of it.

I agree, she should make some changes and tweak things a bit so it can be easier for her to sing.
I didn't like it that much and felt that she could've done better. But some of y'all in here making multiple comments about how much you hate it, like ok. We got it. Move on.
woo she sounded awful. and she looked like she was gonna pass out at the end, from some barely there choreo
