You tell 'em!!! Her team are the worst. They thought that the tour will sellout without promo there? I mean, not everyone is perched on stan forums/RihannaDaily to know about the album/tour. You gotta make sure that people are aware of your work.

No shade but when last has she spoken in-depth about her music? Can you think of any time within the last 5 years that she's spoken about things like the inspiration behind songs etc? Of course that would be hard to do, given that she wasn't writing all the songs, but... yeah. Chances of her saying anything are slim to none.

The reason this has happened in Europe is because her team probably analysed the DWT in Europe and saw how huge it was, (a massive step up from the Loud Tour). They also probably thought that Rihanna hasnt toured since 2013, that's 3 years ago... So I suppose they expected demand to be massive.

Basically they were cocky, and underestimated that you cant sell out 5 stadiums per country (UK/Germany) with ZERO promotion, and a non commercial album which was nowhere to be seen when the tour was announced. Also Rihanna is not coming off a stream of hits like WFL/Diamonds/Stay anymore.

There would be just as much drama. The content of the album isn't the problem. That lies with how the entire thing has been released and (not) promoted.
