If the bronchitis excuse was real, which I don't believe 100%, maybe she insisted to perform like that and her manager told her that she wasn't going to perform with a cracked ass voice, which would give her bad press and damaged her brand. After being told to not perform, she likely threw a tantrum because she was pissed and then ran her way to vacation again.
