It really seems like Adele's stage fright is getting worse the more famous she becomes. Before that NRJ performance, Adele's voice had never made me cringe. Now that happened again at the Grammy's. She did sound better than ever though at the Radio City Music Hall, so when the nerves are in control, she slays.

I'm so excited about Ellen on Thursday. She must be determined to show that can sing better then ever.

She would have slayed if the thingy didnt happen.
Still i didnt cringe. The only bad part was after the key change. I cant watch it cause i see how furstrated and dissaponted she is and it makes me sad

my sentiments exactly lol
altho i think she was subpar (flat) thru it all, but the sound crap were there right from start so oh well

part of me wants her to do AIA again on Ellen just to show that she really normally slays at it, but oh well, i dunno how many viewers she gets...
i guess even more ppl (11,5m) saw her live special in december, when she did one of her best live vocals ever so...

A lot of people are jumping to Adele's defense for powering through the performance even though she was visibly upset by the sound issues; it was clear right from the start that it had made her more nervous, and I think that contributed to the very small crack in her voice during the key change. It wasn't her best performance, but it was still amazing and I think it was better than most of the performances last night. She was very professional about the whole thing and I'm really proud of her. I hope she wasn't too upset by it because if she seriously thinks she has anything left to prove to people, she is so wrong. She's the biggest artist in the world and arguably the best vocalist of our generation. People KNOW she can sing. If people seriously think that was a bad performance, they're clearly hard of hearing.

On the bright side, "When We Were Young" has reached a new peak on the Hot 100. It's at #20 this week, and with a performance on Ellen and a potential music video release this week, it could get shot into the top 10 next week!

I like that she might feel she still has something to prove. That's something you never want an artist to lose. That's what ends up leading to **** albums, etc. I also believe that's what keeps her humble and down to earth.

But at the same time she shouldn't be too hard on herself either.

You're totally right. I didn't mean it in an arrogant sense; I love that she's as humble and down-to-earth as she is. But I also don't want her to lack confidence in her ability to sing as well as she does. Even with an off performance like that, it was still phenomenal.

I really don't agree with that.
She was sick while recording NRG so it's understandable why she sounded like she did.

I don't know if you noticed, but when her pianist understand the issue, he stars playing the song not on the original key - but Adele kept singing the original. We have no idea how hard it is to do so, but I promise you it ain't easy at all.
At the end of the song she was upset and it was so clear. So her emotions took her voice over and that happens to evert true artists who put is heart completely.

I seriously think it's actually getting much better her stage fright.
She looks was more confident and also sound more confident (hitting high notes in SFTTR and SLY really says a lot about that).

Just to mention before the whole situation she sounded in AIA exactly like she usually does.

Yeah, it bothers me that people take forever to update stuff on Discogs, because I don't want to do it! I'll add it if no one else does! Yeah, I don't think they're doing legit CD singles for this era. The ones on eBay are fake (ESPECIALLY the Brazilian ones). Mine is legit, but I do wish it was released later so they could use the actual single artwork instead of the album artwork. Oh, well... I really hope the "Hello" CD pops up soon! And yeah, I would highly recommend getting this one if it pops up again on eBay, especially because it matches the "Hello" CD!

Yeah, I know the one you're talking about! It didn't seem as official as the "Hello" one in the same format, but being that those were the only ones of their kind, I question the validity of the CDs.

Send My Love and Water Under the Bridge are the next ones to go. Two of the poppiest songs in the album. These single release will sell the album to further extent given theyre upbeat and shows a deviation of a typical Adele single. Given All I Ask was performed already, She will come back full force in Grammys 2017 with her signature opening salvo, Hello
