But really though, how did you find travelling, accommodations and spending etc? I was literally discussing going to Caribana with my cousin, but Jamaica or Trinidad isn't gay friendly so I would actually probably be killed there so my next best option was Brazil.

I think there's not a more 'gay friendly' country than Brazil (although I live in Rio de Janeiro and don't know he rest of the country bar a city in another state ).

I knew I knew that already. I need to my **** in order before I travel again, this year really hit my travel and concert savings hard already, and now I want to see Britney again and J.Lo too it sucks to be a Canadian traveller right now.

You're gonna spend a lot of money with accomodations and the flight but, other than that it's all good.
Beer is not that expensive and you stay partying on the streets (they call it 'blocos') and you don't have to pay for anything.
Food is either expensive or cheap depending on where you eat .
BUUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT all the fun you're gonna have is so worth it you're not gonna regret a tiny second of it
