I don't think Work is that safe though. It's very monotonous (deliberately I think) in it's production and doesn't really go anywhere, she's singing in Patois and many think it's literally mumbling, and the lyrics aren't that relatable either, plus many can't even understand them. So actually I think it's a great choice for lead and is a way for Rih to expose her roots on a way larger platform than she ever has before. I wish she was getting more praise for it.
"Work" is one hell of a song, the problem is that it takes a while to click with one so it's not exactly the best choice as a lead single. I do think it might still rise, though.

I agree. Sure one could argue it's safe cause of the Drake feature and it's the most uptempo song on the album but as you said it's not your typical tailor made radio song.
The DJ played Work at the bar last night and everyone was loving it. It gives off the same vibe and excitement as "Sorry" when the DJ plays that at a bar or club, and we know everyone goes nuts when they play that song.
It's confirmed she's doing KIB. But she HAS to do Work aswell..
Like, she would be so mother ****ing dumb if she didn't perform her #2 song on iTunes now, which with a video could make it #1. I swear....if she messes this **** up.
my very str8 roommate was playing consideration in the bathroom yesterday... idk. But slay, Consideration will become her "str8s in the bathroom" anthem. The single release is coming gurls
