What kind of flawless 1-2-3-4 hit combo on One of The Boys, doesn't dip below a 10/10 for a second. Prism comes close, but Roar struggles to be above a 7. Teenage Dream has the heavily dated Last Friday Night ("Such an epic fail" kills me these days) and Firework continues to have trash production.
Wait what? Its production is top-notch and is the only reason that song works IMO.
I really don't understand why she ignored Walking On Air (the gay clubs WERE NOT READY for that slayage) and Legendary Lovers. Birthday was a good single imo, it just had a crap video.
That's where the problem is! Birthday was a GOOD choice indeed, but not the BEST.
That made the difference between her previous eras and PRISM. And although Thinking Of You underperformed, I wouldn't change that song and video for anything. It was meant to happen. It deserved its choice as a single because it's probably her best work yet, both song and video.

Literally the only thing that saved PRISM was DH. Even so she still ****ed it up with the crap music video. She better learn her lesson from this tragic era, but judging from her look nowadays I don't think she will. Let's see how KP4 turns out.
She's a has-been because it's been two years since her last radio hit. That's pretty much lethal to a pop artist's career (except for someone like Adele/Beyonce but they're on a different level to Katy). Plus she's 31 now, time isn't on her side either
If she wants her next era to be a success she's gonna need to come back with something truly brilliant and instant
If she was actually making good career decisions and still flopped, I wouldn't hold it against her. The problem is she's letting her deadbeat loser friends influence her into making the dumbest style and career choices, it's almost as if she wants to flop
I wonder how many stans will abandone Katy if her next album flops disastarously? I bet 80% of the her base.

Really you did? Even when Prism never flopped? After her super successful tour and Super Bowl?
I never cared about the sales. All I care was the music. I felt like her music is too focused on younger kids and she didn't keep me interested in anymore so I abandoned her for 2 years. But the superbowl was indeed impressive. Maybe that's why I got back on here again.
I won't ditch her if she flops but actually makes good music, but she's most likely going to rehash TD/Prism once again and if she does that I'm kinda over it
