Probably not. Maxium about 800 million, which is not bad but their is too much competition and i'm not even referring to the comic universes (Apoc opens against alice through the looking glass which done a billion last time, then TMT releases the following week). Also the US market is lacking for this franchise never being able to push passed 250 mill which is ashame (DOFP posted 233? domestic).The X-men stories/movies always feel like they have a purpose/meaning and heart to them compared to other comic book movies.

The international market will be strong ala DOFP, and will make up the numbers that the flops in America cannnot do. Im staying optimistic though and i hope it can, if it's just to shut up those anti Fox, Marvel fanboys

In a weird way I like that X-Men is almost indie for a mega comic book franchise. It makes it all the better for X-Men to be the underdog IMO.

Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool is on fire at the Friday box office, where it's on course to gross $40 million-plus for the day and surely $100 million or more over the four-day Valentine's Day/Presidents Day weekend.

Deadpool probably getting $100m + in the US thats pretty amazing since its Rated R and not the typical X-men movie gives me hope for Apocalypse

i'm really excited to see how they do Jean's telekinetic powers in the film, its been over 10 years since we last saw a non Phoenix Jean use her powers I'm hoping its more than just throwing chunks of rock at people

I'm I really don't understand why cyclops and jubilee were cut from this promo



unless they really aren't a big feature in the film (given how many characters there are, its definitely possible) imagine if they killed cyclops and jubilee off (again)

Deadpool matching DOFPs opening weekend whilst being R-Rated, in February. Guess it'll probably be really heavily front loaded though.

Hoping it inspires more adult-orientated comic book movies.

I think they will have a solid couple of weeks before BvS comes out. Word of mouth will keep ot going.
