The beauty standard is teached to you since you are born through the media and your surroundings and you aren't even aware of it, it has to do with race no matter how you spin it, it's something that is socially constructed and has been since the colonial ages whereas dark people were deemed as beasts and were compared to the devil due to their skin tone. The uncultured about this should read "The Bluest Eye" by Toni Morrisson, it would teach you some things and would save you from showing your ignorance so blatantly.
