Selena is not performing at the Grammys, she's presenting. Generally, you have to be nominated for a Grammy in order to perform. Ariana performed last year because she earned her first nomination(s).

There is no way this song will smash. There's no point on singing a sad break up song when you're happily (almost)engaged. No meaning behind the song whatsoever. The GP will just see it as yet another boring ballad.
You need to have a backup story when you're releasing a ballad and want it to smash nowadays. You're not ****ing Adele or some new hipster indie artist, you're a ****ing popstar.
'Shouldn't Come Back' was the perfect ballad for her, it would've smashed with a good radio edit if it had been a single. It's not basic at all, the lyrics are powerful and it DOES have a backup story. But we all know Demi and her team are less than smart.
Stone Cold is just plain basic and meaningless, I'm sorry.

I kinda agree with igninton and the backup story to release a ballad argument. That's why Skyscraper worked for her.
But I don't think this will flop. Like I said earlier, this will be AT LEAST a moderate hit. Top 50 Gold single. Which is nice for a third single. I wouldn't be so worried about it. If this flops, it won't hurt her in any way.
Everyone is so MAD about this I don't think it will flop as hard as y'all expect.
For real!!! I mean I see why some people don't want it as a single but some people are doing too much. I mean some people were here for stars being a single I love the song and love that she took a risk even if the song flops she stuck to her guts its obvious she was pushing for this since day one since she performed it many times I really really want it to do well to see wht these people trashing it say if it does well.

Ugh I had forgotten about this song I love it!!! DEMI(album) was full of hits!! Something that we're not could've been a cue little Demi hit(a top 30/top 40 on BBH100 and top 20/10 on pop). People shade it a lot saying its dumb blah blah but I think it was really good. One think imma say you don't have to go thru something to release a song the fact she's happy and in a healthy relationship for years doesn't meant she cant release a break up song cuz of that what kinda logic sis!!!
