Same. If only the government would also remember us stuck in the immigration line well there bringing in all those refugees. Half tempted just to get the hubby to apply as refugee so he'll here back like in a day.
Paying rent sucks, but the freedom that comes with living on your own is worth it. My parents are so damn snoopy. Sometimes they even call to just to see what I'm up to.
I've been living in Downtown Calgary for just over 2 years now. (Btw don't believe the media in how they've exaggerated how bad things are here. It's tough times, but if there's really been that many people layed off, why is downtown even busier than it use to be.)
The hubby and I have been talking about buying a house actually.
Lol that's my case as well, they can be a pain but it's a small price to pay. Besides, moving out won't change that, if anything it'll make them even worse. I'll just bide my time until I can get something that will be more worthwhile in the long run. Sacrifices.

I had $800 saved up but i spent $300 on my birhday party.
$500/$4000 saved for my car now.
Also, i finally got all (3) of my W-2s. Time to do my taxes. i should be getting a ~$400 refund check. 2015 was such a mess for me. In 2014 i made $11,000 and in 2015 i made $3,300
