So I think the 460 is from a few hours on Wednesday and all day Thursday. So a little over a full day and she only sold 460 copies. And idc about the 1 million given away free thing. I highly doubt a million people actually downloaded the album. I think they counted every click on the link or stream of 1 song as part of the 1 million album sales.

if it was a "gift" to her fans...why is she putting it on sale now?? its no gift...it was a PR move to save face for an album, that as we see now, was destined for a poor showing. also a business move to recover the financial losses they had for all the recording & scrapping they did...plus the 3 singles & videos they put out that underperformed.

The fact that 100k is considered "good numbers" for a major pop girl by most in this thread. If only every artist on here had it so easy with those low expectations. What a major flop! Hilarious seeing the Rihanna stans who try and drag other artists who sell way more than this trying to justify the numbers.

Like many have pointed out, Jay did 528,000 with the same exact scheme. So really there's no excuse for Rihanna.

Bey did 310,000 when her album leaked an entire MONTH before release.

125k and possibly under 100k in pure sales is really meagre, especially for someone that the Navy claimed anticipation was at an all-time high.
