WTF? I thought that in Same Ol' Love she said "Stop thinking you're the only option" but the official lyrics in her pages says "stop thinking of the only option".
The song is an apology to a lover. She's drunk and she's in her feelings and she's been feasting on her emotions and wants to let it all out. The desperation and tone you can almost feel the melancholy of her depressed mood. Its a brilliant song. And the length really makes it even more riveting because its like a story that ends abruptly. You have to wonder did her lover take her back? Is everything good.
But then she answers that with the beautiful "Close to You"
The transitions on this album again, really do the magic.
Listening to Same Ol' Mistakes and thinking of my toxic relationship. Stop thinking you're the only option OMG STOP before it's too late but you make same Ol' mistakes
Why don't you throw in Monster and Can't Forget To Remember You, and the Home tracks sis? Might as well go all the way in. Also add Lean On and Cheap Thrills.
