I don't know about the rest of you, but I guess, in my case, the reason that I'm complaining so much about "When We Were Young" and how it's being handled is just that I never imagined she'd ever write anything that would resonate with me this much, and I think the fact that it's got the potential to be one of her signature songs is something that should be taken advantage of. The song is really important to me, so obviously I want it to do well and I have high expectations for it. But, that being said, we really have gotten everything we've asked for. We got a phenomenal third album, a 10-week run at number-one for the lead single, and a proper world tour. We should be thankful. Sorry for complaining so much about "When We Were Young"!

I honestly didn't even think of you when I wrote what I wrote. I'm just REALLY tired of seeing posts and tweets like "This era is over" or how much her team ****ed this all up when they've ****ed up literally nothing so far (oh, okay, they deleted some vids from YT, sorry). If Hello was done for a long time and Adele was still nowhere to be found, then yeah, have a rant. But Hello is still way too high on the charts and we have the Grammys, BRITs and a freaking tour coming up. I love WWWY and of course I want it to do well on charts and be successful and everything, but good lord, people really need to calm down for a bit... It all makes sense if they are waiting for the Grammys.
It almost feels like most people making these comments weren't here during 21 though, like, she ain't no Taylor Swift, if somebody expected her to overpromote the album and be constantly everywhere for 2 years straight, then they don't know **** about Adele and should just jump the ship immediately.

I haven't seen any fans on here say this. The only people saying that are not fans and obviously trolling. Ignore them.

I agree. If they release a single now, it would be Dark Horse'd by Hello.

No, I get where you're coming from, and I completely agree. A lot of the people that are saying that her label f**ked up are really stupid. They haven't f**ked up yet. I will be disappointed if they don't promote "When We Were Young," but I have faith that they will. Adele is insistent on not becoming overexposed, and her label has always done as she asked. This is no exception. It makes sense for them to wait for the Grammys; I just hope that that's what they do. I think for some people on ATRL, the fact that Adele handles things differently than all the other pop girls is something that they're not used to. Even though I stan for artists like Taylor Swift, they become overexposed, which ATRL fails to see. Adele wants to avoid that, and I think part of her appeal is the fact that she is able to maintain success without becoming overexposed.

Hm, didn't you have a meltdown about losing hope in this era recently? Or was that trolling as well? Not the exact words, but still basically the same thing imo.

Honestly, the more I think about it, the more I think that it's perfect to wait for the Grammys. Now, if she performs Hello instead of WWWY, a little part of me will die.

Exactly. I think we will just have to wait and see. Like we always do.

^ Pretty much! I mean... We're kind of pros at the whole "wait and see" thing now. After all, our fave is Adele.

IF she's indeed coming with vid and spotify release like a week before grammys or smt like that, she did it perfect again, it'd be the perfect timing. given how everything has to be instant and changing so quickly, it'd almost feel like "yess she's back" again if all that happens plus grammys/brits! it's her classic way of handling the promo and it'd be so perfect!!
let's hope this, but she really knows what she's doing i think

Hopefully she wears something with color. Or at least something standout for the performance.
I also wonder if she'll have her weave in for the tour at the time?

This is what i was thinking yesterday. It would almost be like how it was when Hello was released. Like starting over again, which is a good thing. It'll make the era feel more fresh.

Not basically the same thing at all. If you're going to drag, get your facts straight. Thanks.

Well to be fair, this is Adele we're dealing with so I think a lot are just going by past history in regards to videos, promotion, etc. Hello is already heading towards modern classic status, the album has sold around 16 million copies, the tour is a huge success, and she could feel there is no need to keep pushing anything else from this album.
Which is fine, it's not like she'd be wrong to feel that way (the era basically accomplished in a month what most albums take years to do), but after such a long wait I think most of us at least wanted a few more videos, etc - even if they're just for the fans.
But obviously we don't know if that's how she feels or what they have planned. I always felt like the plan for the second single was to use the Grammys as the launching platform for it so I think it's best all of us just wait to see what happens with that. Right now it's obviously all about preparing for tour.

Better keep those comments for when/if she indeed doesnt release videos, put the album on Spotify etc. Its literally just a couple months in the era. Wait. If they **** up the promo potential at the Grammys & Brits yes start with the meltdowns as for now, they are completely unnecessary.
There were many different factors that had a lot to do with what happened with the 21 era and how/why it was handled the way it was. 25 is totally different. So i just say wait, be patient.

Again, some of you really need to stop taking statements and twisting them. It's pathetic and a little idiotic.
You look stupid.

No one is twisting nothing.
I wont resort to petty personal attacks.
