Lol they were not... The chourses are playing in the backround but she still sings live and the verses are 100% live I'm sure of it.
Watch the Firework performance. The intro was very off, then she got it together during the pre-chours and she's singing the chours but you can hear the track on the background as well.
Weird that she's been at Capitol twice now, wonder what's happening. She trying to convince them to let her do something new, them demanding updates on album progress? Playing them the final draft and planning promotion?!
Maybe just setting up a production timetable. Don't remember her being spotted hanging around Capitol before her previous albums though.
