One of the most earnest moments on Katy Perry's Prism LP was "Double Rainbow," the simple, ethereal ballad she co-wrote with Sia and Greg Kurstin. Sia had nothing but praise for her time spent working with Perry and of their friendship as well, describing the pop star's songwriting style as "analytical" and reflecting on how their songwriting collaboration almost didn't work out because of how different their styles are. "I really wanted her to sing some of my songs," she told RS. "Mostly because I love her as a person." Perry also almost sang Sia's collaboration with Diplo and the Weeknd, "Elastic Heart."
I still can't get over Maroon 5 ripping off Birthslay like that and making it smash. Birthday should be the music video with 1,023,578,635 views, not Carbohydrate.
If Katy came out with something even 75% as good as Like a Prayer I'd have to listen at least 20 times before I stopped screaming "Yaaasss" through it and could actually listen to it. She, nor I, is not ready to reach that level of quality.
I'll settle for her Like A Virgin right now (even though that was Teenage Dream, you can't go wrong with flawless part 2.)

It's because of the deadline. Super Bowl happened in February 2015. The only chance of this getting nominated was at this year's ceremonies. But her team didn't submit It.

"I'm such a huge Robyn fan," Perry gushed while introducing "Walking On Air," a vibrant, throbbing house song she made with Swedish producer-songwriter (and frequent Robyn collaborator) Klas Ahlund. Another Stockholm-born song, "This Is How We Do," is a wobbling dance track with a spoken-word bridge that carries "song of next summer" potential."
I've never thought of it as a "throbbing house song," let alone Robyn inspired. I enjoy WOA, but I don't love it.

I'm surprised she said this since WOA was obviously inspired by CeCe Peniston
